Castile soap is made using the cold press method of saponification, exemplified in traditional European olive oil soaps, and developed long before synthetic surfactants existed.

Cold process soap making produces retained glycerine, a natural humectant, which allows valuable nutrients inherent in high quality vegetable oils to remain intact in the finished product. Your skin will feel refreshingly clean yet moisturised. It is so mild that you can even use it on your hair and face as well.

This castile soap is created with chloride free, filtered rain water from Queensland, Australia and is 100% biodegradable – gentle on both the body and the earth.

How to use:

Use as a hand and body wash to clean skin. Works particularly well under the shower when applied to a sponge.

May also be transferred to a soap pump for hand washing. To make a foaming hand wash, fill your pump container 2/3 full and top up with water. Because our 100% natural, eco-friendly soap does not contain petroleum foaming agents, you will notice that it creates milder suds than synthetic soap products. This does not affect its ability to clean.

Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender True) Essential Oil: Suitable for all skin types and widely used therapeutically with infants through to the elderly. With a gentle aroma, this oil’s powerful antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic properties help to keep skin clean and clear. Our essential oil is sourced directly from a Tasmanian Lavender farm.

Castile Soap: Castile soap is an effective traditional soap made from 100% natural ingredients that is safe for everyone to use and is grey water safe. Retained glycerin gives skin moisture keeping it feeling soft and smooth. Because we use Australian Rain Water, this product is chloride-free and great for those who have an allergy.
